Autumn inspired outfits / Lookbook

Autumn is here and I couldn't be more excited. It is of course my favourite season. Not just because of the pumpkin spice lattes or leaves everywhere, but also because of the cold, big fluffy scarves, leather jackets ... I could go on and on.
I prepared a lookbook of my favourite outfits/outfits of the week. I included the "fall trends": a sweater dress (I found some really amazing ones on www.ericdress.com), leather jacket, ripped jeans, chelsea boots, poncho/oversized cardigan. In general burgundy/white/black outfit combinations. I really enjoy making videos so, if you want to see me do more of it, do let me know.

Let me know which one is your favourite. Talk to you soon.

How to shop on a budget / Part 2 /

Another great tip: sales.
Sales are girls best friend. Going into the shop and finding for example a jacket you have been eyeing for ages. And it's half off. Yes please :) Stylish and budget friendly.

Another great opportunity for all my US readers (or even other) is the Black Friday sale (http://www.tidestore.com/h/Black-Friday-4/). Black Friday is the Friday following Thanksgiving Day in the United States, which is usually regarded as the beginning of the Christmas shopping season. Everyone enjoys shopping on the Black Friday, because the prices are really low. And with the Christmas "just around the corner" you can get all the gifts at really good prices without to much damage to the budget :)

Tidestore.com is one of leading suppliers of fashion wholesale in China. They offer the latest trends in fashion clothes, fashionable clothes of good quality at the most reasonable price for everyone in the world. Check out Tidestore for deals (http://www.tidestore.com)

You can find them:

Hope you like this kind of "advice segment". It's one of my favourite things to read on blogs and it was also really fun writing one. Let me know what are some of your tips for shopping on a budget.

Talk to you soon.

How to shop on a budget

Living and shopping on a budget is a thing that almost every student has to do. It's the same for me. Sometimes it's really hard to do so, because for every season you have to but new, trendy things, which can cost a lot of money. Especially if you are a fashion blogger. That's why I prepared some tips for you, which you can include in your daily life.

1. Invest in basic/timeless things.
Everyone loves to treat themselves once in a while with a new, more expensive piece of clothing. Designer clothes can cost A LOT of money and not many of us can afford to but them all the time.  I suggest investing in more basic/timeless piece: little black dress, black pumps, a blazer, a trench coat, a handbag etc. You will have them in your wardrobe forever and you can wear the literally with every look.

2. The second one goes well with the first one. While basic things are a good thing to invest, trendy clothes are not. Buy them at hight street shops for vey good prices. Because you won't feel that guilty not wearing them next season. Trust me :)
My favourite shops are Zara, H&M, Forever 21, TopShop etc.

3. Build your wardrobe carefully and slowly.
You have to take your time while building your wardrobe. I'm still doing that and will probably do for a long time. Don't just throw what you don't like or think you can't wear it anymore. Try to come up with new ways to wear it.
There are 10 things every woman should own: a trench coat, little black dress, classic white shirt, black dress pants, a perfect pair of jeans, day dress, any occasion tops, a pencil skirt, leather jacket and a basic blazer. Try to start with these items and then continue with more colourful/funky pieces.

4. Basics, basics, basics.
You will appreciate them. For example: take a white shirt, ripped jeans, converse/new balance shoes, a leather jacket, top that with a big hat and voila. You have an outfit. Easy yet still very put together. And you can achieve that with basics.

5. Online shopping.
Another way is to try online shopping, which I personally really enjoy. Of course Asos is one of my favourite shops that's no surprise, but sometimes it just gets to expensive for my budget. I recently found an amazing shop that offers good deals for really awesome prices. It is called www.ericdress.com. Ericdress.com provides hundreds of dresses for global buyers. On www.ericdress.com, international buyers can purchase a wide range of products at very low prices. In addition, customers can also enjoy the custom made items, which may be more suitable for you. They offer a quick-and-easy online purchasing process in addition to offering knowledgeable customer service team. Their tried and tested Trust Marketing and Paypal payment processes guarantee a safe and secure purchasing environment. Unlike their competitors, ericdress has truly taken out the hassle of international trade—from product sourcing, secure payment and shipping. Since its founding, ericdress has seen accelerating growth rate in a number of business indicators, including year-to-year gross merchandising value, number of orders, registered buyers and sellers, and listings. You can choose from coats, dresses, shoes, accessories and even wedding apparel.

For autumn I especially like their sweater dresses (www.ericdress.com/list/cheap-sweater-dresses-102049/ ).

Fashion is about dressing according to what's fashionable. Style is more about being yourself.

Today the world of fashion lost a legend, Oscar de la Renta. He was a designer who shaped the wardrobe of socialites with his sophisticated style creating breathtaking and timeless pieces. There was never a red carpet event that wouldn't have his dress included. He was also one of my favourite designer.

"I wanted this, I wanted to do this, but my work is me, and it has to be right."

I just wanted to quickly put this in my post, because it was important to share this message to others. Well, the topic I wanted to chat about today will just have to wait till next time. I didn't want to put pictures from Tumblr or Google or any other site in this post, that's why I decided to share some more from my "month of design" visit. They were taken by a awesomely talented photographer AÑA GEA

Talk to you soon. x

What's in my Rucksack

It's time for a Bag review/what's in my bag or in this case my Rucksack.

I finally caved in and bought this black rucksack from Top Shop which I have been eying for a couple of months now. Simple shape with rose gold details and just the right size to fit in what you need for a basic day around town or for school. I have been looking for this type of a rucksack for so long. It's such a classic piece that puts any outfit together and I'm so happy that I got it.

I also decided to show you some little things that I always carry in my bag/rucksack; Beats by Dre headphones with an amazing sound quality (and I always love to listen to music), iPhone 4S, statement sunglasses, purse (this one is from Asos, a planner (Moleskin) and a nude lipstick (Maybelline).

If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.

This quote from Mark Twain just really sums up what has been going on at the moment.
On the first day of my English class, we had to introduce ourselves with some original adjectives, not just like happy, talkative and fun. It sounded like an easy task, but actually it wasn't. I have never really thought about this before. So after a couple of minutes of some super hard thinking I came to a conclusion.
1. I'm quite an organised person; sure my room is a mess most of the time, but I have my good arguments :) - I really enjoy planning and making lists. I even have my favourite plain notebook just for the random lists and ideas. So if I am bored during a class you know what I'll be doing.
2. Sometimes I'm way too honest, which makes it super awkward in some situations. My friends are already used to it, which is both a good and a bad thing. I have to blame my family for that. If you ever met my mother, you would know what I'm talking about. Honesty all the way. So yeah, thanks mom :)
3. I'm really hard working when it comes to things/projects that I'm passionate about. If I like something I will make sure that I do everything in my power to achieve it.

So this is quite a random description about me, but I thought I should share something more personal about me. Hope you all have an amazing week. Talk to you soon.

Forever 21 Parka
Urban Outfitters Top
Ripped Jeans from Top Shop
Converse shoes

The nicest thing about the future is that it always starts tomorrow.

This week I started my journey at Uni. I decided to stay in Slovenia and now study Art History and English. It is not really the way I wanted my student life to go, but because of different circumstances I wasn't able to attend the college of my dreams. Things just got so complicated and even though I was accepted, I decided to wait on my big move and attend London College of Fashion in the next few years. I decided to make a post all about my uni life this (or maybe next) week so keep an eye on it :)

On a more positive note - I went on a little trip yesterday with my family. We visited the seaside and had a really good time. It is weirdly super sunny and warm for this time of year, but I can't complain. Fall is my favourite season and this year is even better with the surprising weather.

Month of Design Ljubljana / Mesec oblikovanja

Month of Design Ljubljana ( in Slovene; Mesec oblikovanja) is an annual international festival of know-how and creativity in design. I had an opportunity this week to visit it and discover new creative ideas, from furniture to clothes and even cars. By far my favourite thing were the cardboard chairs - such a fun idea!
Their motto this year is called "It's possible!" (in slovene; Možno je!) which positively encourages everyone to really be as creative as possible. If you have the talent, passion and you are hard-working, you are on the right way to success. I was really impressed with the work that was shown, because I believe that design has really thriven in the last few years, especially in Slovenia. It makes me happy to see people sharing their success in the artistic/design area with others.
I hope that someday I can join them.
If you are in Ljubljana and have some free time to spare definitely visit the festival. You won't regret it.
