How to stay motivated
Dreams, goals, plans, success. Everything sounds amazing and we all aim to achieve everything we ever wished for. But it's not as easy as it seems.
I had a plan. I knew what I was going to do, I was going to chase that dream. But everything fell apart very quickly and I was left alone, back at the starting point. Now what to do, I wondered. I had to find a new incentive to persevere and find another way to succeed. Here are some of the motivational thoughts and quotes I found, when I needed motivation to set my new goals. You need to believe that you can do it and have the capability to stay motivated!
Start with setting clear goals from the very beginning. Realistic and small plans! Because you know that failing is the worst feeling to experience. Everybody has aims, so set up your goals. And once you achieved that goal, you get so motivated to continue. There's nothing better than achieving something that you love.
Eliminate distractions. You're just going to waist your time if you don't. Put your phone on an airplane mode and completely focus on to the things you are doing at that moment.
Follow your passion and put all of your time doing that. There are a lot of people who absolutely hate their job but do nothing in their spare time on things they love. They are not even trying to make that their job. It can be anything - music, film making, painting, sports etc. It may be hard, but it's not unrealistic. You can't just say that you want to be a painter, then start working at a "proper" job and in your spare time don't even bother practising it. Life is a big competition. If you don't put that time in, somebody else will. And somebody else will snap that job from you, who wants it just as much but puts in much more work than you.
Challenge of progressing is when you're down and losing. It's on you, because you are the only one who can get up and make it happen. You need to put in the work! If you allow your emotions to take over you, you'll just get eaten. Sometimes you just need to distance yourself and focus on what's really important for you and your goals.
People are rewarded in public for the work they do in private. So stay humble!
