Shopping Advice / I have nothing to wear Part II.

ENG

I've written a post about this topic before but because I love clothes and sometimes struggle to come up with interesting outfits, I decided to write a part II post. This is a topic that I constantly check out on different blogs and websites to see what's their opinion. Because we've all been there. Waking up in the morning, rummaging through the closet, hopelessly staring at it because you don't know what to wear that day, even though you have so many clothes. Maybe you got sick of wearing the same clothes over and over again or just forgot to do last week's laundry. This happens to me all the time. So I've come up with some new ideas and tips you may find useful.

1. As I mentioned in my first post you need to invest in good quality basics. Even go designer if you have the opportunity to splurge on clothes. However there are many great highstreet shops that make beautiful looking basics for a quarter of designer prices if you don't have a budget for it. Basics are the fundamental pieces of your outfit and if they look expensive and stylish they'll make you look the same as well.
2. Go on spontaneous shopping sprees. Whenever I plan to go shopping I always end up empty handed. So what I do now is, when I have some free time and don't have anything important to do, I go to the nearest shop just to have a look. That is when I buy most of the clothes.
3. Don't go shopping for a specific item. In most cases when you have something specific in mind that you absolutely need, you probably won't find it. It's just the way it is. Last week I went on a hunt for an oversized, long coat to a lot of different shops and did not found anything. I did however find some interesting pieces that weren't on my wishlist, but you know it's like that most of the time.
4. Make a list for every season. Planning is always fun, at least for me. Plan key items that you need for that season and also include one or two trendy pieces to mix things up a bit. Don't be too specific about it, just vaguely describe what you want (white shirt, new jeans, a coat, etc.).
5. Don't go to the shops every single week. Collections will stay pretty much the same for some weeks so there's no need to worry.
6. Organize your closet however you like it / it's most useful to you. I personally love to have it colour-coordinated, because I find it much more neater, but most of you probably have it organised by items (skirts together, shirts together, jacket, etc.). If your closet is organised it'll benefit you most because it'll be easier for you to find different pieces to wear.
7. Invest in accessories. If you ask any fashion blogger about their key secret to a good outfit they will all tell you is in the accessories. Good shoes and bags elevate any basic outfit.
8. Capture your favourite outfits. A good way to do that nowadays if of course by posting them on Instagram. Next time when you'll be scrolling through your feed you'll definitely find something you like or at least give you an inspiration what to wear that day.
9. Have a go-to outfit for different occasions - wedding, party, interview, work, school, leisure, etc. An outfit you know is appropriate for the occasion, you know you look good in and is a saviour when you have absolutely no clue what to wear.

SLO

Vsi smo že izkusili to, ko se zjutraj zbudiš in popolnoma brezupno stojiš pred prepolno garderobo, ker ne veš kaj obleči. Mogoče zato, ker ste že izkoristili "vse" možnosti ali pa enostavno niste oprali oblačil prejšnjega tedna. Vse to verjetno izkusim prav vsak teden, čeprav imam ogromno oblačil.

Kupujte osnovne oblikovalske kose, če si seveda to lahko privoščite. Osnovni kosi garderobe so glavni deli vsakodnevne obleke in če izgledajo razkošno in elegantno, potem boste tako izgledali tudi vi.
2. Nakupujte popolnoma spontano.
Ko boste naslednjič v dilemi, bo to definitivno vaša rešitev.
